Delete your SecureScan account

SecureScan, published by MAHDI FOR PROGRAMMING AND INVESTMENT

A SecureScan account is optional. If you created one, you can delete it and everything stored under it at any time.

In the app (immediate)

Open SecureScan and go to Settings → Account → Delete account. Your account is removed from our server straight away.

If you no longer have the app

Email ahmdberro50@gmail.com from the email address of your account, with the subject Delete my SecureScan account. We delete the account within 30 days.

We only act on requests sent from the account's own address, so nobody else can delete your account.

What is deleted

Your email address and display name.
Your passkeys (we only ever held their public keys) and any pending sign-in codes.
Your scan history synced to our server.
Family: your links to your children's phones end, and the rules, app lists and locations stored for those phones are deleted. Blocked and risky website events already recorded expire automatically within 30 days, as they always do.

What is not kept

Nothing that identifies you stays on our server. Two things were never tied to you and are unaffected:

Links and verdicts in our shared check record, which never contained who checked them.
Anonymous counters, if you left Help improve SecureScan on; they use a random number with no link to your account.

Scan history kept only on your phone is removed when you clear it or uninstall the app.

Subscriptions

Deleting your account does not cancel SecureScan Pro. Payments are handled by Apple or Google: cancel in your App Store or Google Play subscriptions.
